hello from tennessee

Hello Everyone.
Just wanted to say hey to all as I am new to the forum. From what I can see, it will be a great resource. I currently own the following firearms:
Sig P228
Ruger SP101
S&W Model 65
Ruger MKIII GC678
Mossberg 500 Persuader
Mosin Nagant 91/30
Norinco SKS
Yugo M70 AK47
Enfield 2A (Ishapore)
The info I have seen on the Ruger Mark Series of pistols has been very instructive. Look forward to further participation in the forum.

I've just replaced the original extractor with a VQ on my MKIII GC; gonna try it out later today. Also plan to replace at least the sear, maybe the trigger with VQ parts.

Do the trigger and sear. You will be very pleased with the results.

Trigger and sear will do the job for a great feeling trigger pull.

On all of my Ruger 22/45's All I did was the VQ sear and added a pre travel screw to the sock trigger and they all have aa trigger pull of 2 to 2-1/4 pounds and very clean as fqa as this old man can tell. May not be what some people wqnt but it works for me. Do not shoot any competition but just to have fun and amuse myself and maybe aa boy,ho ho, well old guy from down south

Just lurking in the shadows as old guys with nothing important to say will do.
Been shooting the rifles and the 8inch 22/45 with the 2.5-10 scope on it and the 50th anniversary Blackhawk. Think I am finally learning to shoot that revolver thing-ie.

Never had much problem shooting my BH. Hitting is a different matter.

Got to admit that you are right there Rob, loading is no problem, shooting is no problem, hitting is no problem as all the bullets do get down range. Now the real problem seems to be hitting where I want it to. It seems to shoot where I am pointing, now if I could just straighten out that problem of pointing in the proper area.

Once, I could blame the gun or the ammo. But since I'm reloading, it must be the gun.
