LCR-22 off to Ruger

Ruger even called my house early this morning to see if it was sent. They are as anxious to get it, as I am to get it back. They had me put someone's attention on the box, and said they put an "alert" on it. Sounds good, whatever it means.
I just wish I knew how I'll get it back, direct or through an FFL. They didn't ask for any FFL info so far, though. Last time I had a gun come into an LGS, that opened at 10 AM, idiot UPS tried to deliver at 8:30 AM and never came back until the gun shop called and complained. The UPS guy made it back at 2 PM.
I have the general feeling they are planning to replace it, and I could get one back Friday. They'll have it tomorrow, and that would give them 24 hours to ship one out.
Why do we have such a fit when we're waiting for a gun we've ordered, or sent off for work? Be honest, we all do it.........
