What a mess, these guys need to find something more suited to their limited abilities. Lucky someone didn't really get hurt.

Sounds like she could persue a healthy addition to her bank account. Even if it had been illegal beer, their actions were way overboard.

I've been a cop for 13 years and I'm not sure how buying beer, illegal or not, would justify drawing a firearm on someone, or the swarmi g with several agents. It might have been better handled by a marked car making a traffic stop on the SUV, would have saved everybody involved a bunch of grief...
I guess they do things differently south of the Mason/Dixon line...

I don't understand why they pursued her in the first place, because she had a
bottle of water? The agents should be put in jail. I guess citizens are guilty until
proven innocent!

How do you distinguish bewteen 20 and 21? If she had been over 21 and had been legally carrying and reacted to what she thought was a mob...
I believe a courteous one-person approach would have been much better. Besides, her family could have been really politically connected. Then the posse would have some more deep splaining to do.

Jump on my hood with a gun pointed at me would be hazardous to your health, unless he has a very good grip at top speed and sudden braking, and then of course dealing with the pistol in my back pocket. Maybe he just has a hard time meeting young ladies. Seems like plain cloths officers is a little overkill and waste of the local agencies money
