This is something we do on a motorcycle forum I'm on. It's all in good fun, over there I have 3700+ posts, but mine are usually crap.

Congrats!
Thanks, I am an old scooter rider myself, first one I rode had a hand shift and a suicide clutch, Used to be a Yamaha service thech before I retired.
I tried one of those, that was harder than learning to ride in the first place! Lot of respect for anyone that can get comfortable with those.

I was a Chevrolet service tech until July. Decided to walk away after 17 years to be a sales manager for Standard.

That was along time ago, must have been around 1950 when I was a Senior in high school. That was all there was, the foot shift was not invented yet I think. Left foot was clutch, right foot was brake, left hand grip was spark advance and right grip was throttle. There was Harley and Indian and other brands that I can not recall. Did get to ride a 3 wheel version in the 70's sometime and bring back old memories. That is the one they called the suicide clutch, bike in gear, foot on clutch, need to take dab with the left fur for balance, gone into traffic.
You have great day and shoot straight and may the Good Lord smile on you.
