I get a lot of enjoyment reading everyones posts and commenting where I feel I can.

Bullseye, Thank You for a wonderful, extremely well moderated, information packed site.

May you all be surrounded with family and friends this week and all that follow.

I wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving.

Mine will be delayed due to the fact my dad just had a double bypass and heart valve surgery Tuesday morning. He is doing very good and impressing all of the hospital staff. The physical therapist was having to slow him down, was out running him. For some reason they thought he was in his mid/late 60's. He turned 88 this year and has always been very active. My brother and his wife are coming up tonight. We have not told him but we will be ordering food from the cafeteria and all eating here with him thanksgiving. Our original plans was to be at his house and it will be but delayed till he gets home.

Hope everyone does have a pleasant, calorie maxed, Thanksgiving. I myself have come to hate the whole Christmas season, because of so many people going berserk with the shopping BS.

Traffic goes up like 1000%, especially near the malls. You can't go get a loaf of bread, pick up a prescription, or anything else for the mobs of people and cars. I live near a mall, and can't hardly get in or out of my own neighborhood. The accident rate triples, too. Every other car is an idiot in a hurry.

My own shopping will be a weekday morning, around the second week of December about 10 AM. I'll hit one mall, and be out by noon, before the stampede really starts. If that doesn't get the three presents I'm somewhat obligated to get, too bad.

All I want for Christmas is January 2nd.
