22/45 detailed stripping/reassembly procedures

Post by Bullseye » Wed Aug 02, 2006 10:32 pm

Here is a link to the 22/45 pages for maintenance.

http://www.guntalk-online.com/2245detailstripping.htm

These are also available from the regular detailed stripping pages via imbedded links within the stripping and reassembly procedures.

Hope this helps.

It's what I do. If you think of anything else you'd like to see on that page for the 22/45, don't be shy to ask and I'll see what I can do.

If anyone is contemplating changing out their OEM Ruger sear for a VQ Target sear, make sure you have the right sear spring for your pistol.

The VQ part comes with a Mark II sear spring and if you have a 22/45 you must reinstall the original into your pistol.

Hope this helps.

Jason Hoff submitted this one page set of disassembly/reassembly instructions to me via email. Here's a .pdf file link you can use.
