Difficult Disassembly / Reassembly?

I can disassemble / reassemble Ruger semi-auto .22 pistols almost blindfolded as I've been doing those for almost 50 yrs. If you want something difficult, try a Colt Woodsman. I bought a nice one a couple of weeks ago at a gun show. I just got to the range today and put 200 MiniMags through it. It functioned flawlessly, has a crisp 2 1/2 lb. trigger and is very accurate. It's a sweet pistol in every way, and I was very happy with it.

Even though it didn't appear very dirty, I figured a detailed cleaning was in order. I did have the original Colt disassembly / reassembly instructions that I downloaded off the internet. After about 3 or 4 hours of rigorous struggle, I did finally get the %$&^# thing back together.

I hope it's like the Ruger and just gets easier the more you do it. Right now, I'm not looking forward to stripping that Woodsman down again (though I certainly will do it when needed again). I'm just happy to have it functioning well and clean as a whistle now. And most importantly, back together, LOL.

As green as I was to not only the ruger MK 22/45 but to pistols/heck any auto loader (hadn't fired one since the early 90's) I still didn't have that much of a bugger with this MKIII 22/45 initially. I did, however, have the excellent pics and info here on the little gem. Thanks for the heads up though!
