Even though it didn't appear very dirty, I figured a detailed cleaning was in order. I did have the original Colt disassembly / reassembly instructions that I downloaded off the internet. After about 3 or 4 hours of rigorous struggle, I did finally get the %$&^# thing back together.
I hope it's like the Ruger and just gets easier the more you do it. Right now, I'm not looking forward to stripping that Woodsman down again (though I certainly will do it when needed again). I'm just happy to have it functioning well and clean as a whistle now. And most importantly, back together, LOL.
