In fact, I did have the intensity turned down, relatively speaking. It was a bright day (one of dang few so far this summer...) and I was seeing just how far I could turn it down and still see it. I was also checking to see if the dot size varied noticeably with intensity (it doesn't appear to.)Bullseye wrote:I have not noticed being able to see through the dot. Sounds like your dot intensity is turned very low. If that was the case, then you may be able to see through it, because the aiming dot is just reflected on the front scope lens and is superimposed on the downrange image within the scope tube.

Probably just a fluke, but I'll try to remember to check it out next time I get a minute to go and shoot.
