The only Rem rimfire ammo I buy is C-Bees ... and centerfire only as a last resort.
I'll give their shorts a try if I see them, but I doubt they're competitive with CCI.
I ran a head to head test with remington and federal bulk ... the short version is that remington was crap compared to federal for the exact same price. 13 dead cartridges from remington wouldn't fire at all ... 1 from federal.
1 federal went on the second try, I don't remember how many remingtons went off the second try. That was the same guns running 550 rounds between them of each kind ... 1 henry lever gun 1 walther p 22 and 1 ruger mark 3 with various tweaks.

Didn't realize that your part pf the Motor City was that far South of me?Hakaman wrote:We can thank Canuckland for sending this cold down our way. If it were that warm here we would most likely be meeting our shooting bud at the range for a haft hour or so of range time. Nice to have the local range I belong to only about 15 minutes from home.ruger22 wrote:Forties and gray here, yet we hit 78 last week. I'd forgotten about Haka's winter thermometer and I was thinking about a fast trip to De Riot City. May get to 40 down south here and I have the yard weed flowers poking through the dusting of snow. Sort of puts the kibosh on chasing crappie on my favorite lake.
Wandered by the ammo sellers at the gun show. Seemed like a lot of Remington .22 ammo available. Figured I wasn't desparate.
