I was wondering what would be the expected inherent accuracy of my Mark III Hunter at 25 yds.? Say from a Ransom Rest and after thorough break in (500 rounds) . That would be with all shooter errors removed and with top notch target ammo. I was guessing it should be capable of less than 1" groups at 25 yds. . Please correct me if I'm wrong.

You can expect less than an inch at 25 yards under the conditions you've described.

I have an MKIII 512 that will print less than 1" at 25 yds with mid grade ammo. So far with these pistols most of the limitation that I have had getting good groups is all me.

With good, consistent ammo and most shooter error removed, the pistol should regularly do sub 1" groups. I've done a few sub 1" groups with a scope from an improvised (3 pieces of 2x4) rest with mid-grade ammo.

Ruger accuracy is not in question here. 25yds, PMC Scoremaster ammo, arm rested. Trigger control and sight alignment count.

Very impressive! that looks like .3" at 25 yds.
